Sharks Swim & Dive Team
The SHARKS Swim and Dive program emphasizes FUN and TEAM SPIRIT and is a great way to meet new friends. Our coaches' work with the kids to improve their skills and techniques, build self-confidence, develop teamwork, and teach good sportsmanship in a competitive, yet a fun environment.
The SHARKS compete in the Seven Hills Swim League with Indian Hill, Miami Hills (Milford), Normandy (Loveland), Terrace Park and Turpin Hills. This past year we had over 160 swimmers and divers, of all ages, participating in our program.
Most meets are held on Thursday nights which allows you to have your weekends free to do family activities. All the children compete in their age group based on their birthday as of June 1st. The age groups are 8 & unders, 9-10's; 11-12's; 13-14's; 15-18's.
If you are interested in having your child become a SHARK, they must be able to swim one length of the pool without stopping and be under 18 years old as of June 1st. Additionally, you must be a registered member of the Forest Hills Swim Club.

Sharks Swim and Dive Team Information (Updated 4/26/11)

* REGISTRATION AND SUIT UP DAY is scheduled for Thursday, May 12th from
5-7:30 p.m.. There will be a second suit up day on June 2nd during practice.
* All SHARK members must fill out the 2010 Swim & Dive Team Registration Form
along with the Medical Release form prior to competing. This year, as part of
registration fee, your Shark will get this year's SHARKWEAR T-shirt and cap. Please
make sure to indicate your child's T-shirt size on the registration form.

* This year's STROKE CLINIC will be held May 17th, 19th, 24th and 26th. Details for

* The Shark's have a new assistant Dive Coach this

* The Practice Schedule for the upcoming Sharks Season is posted.
* The Sharks have always been known to be able to get volunteers to help with a
swim meet. To understand what is required at Swim/Dive Meets, please review
the Meet Job Description. We request that each parent volunteer 2 times (1/2
meet each time) for each swimmer they have on the team and a minimum of 1
time per diver. As the year progresses we will posting the volunteer positions
available and if you have met the obligation.
