Construction Update June 6th and opening date update

Dear Members,

As you can see from the latest photos, your Forest Hills Swim Club is almost ready. The sod has been installed (along with 100 tons of new top soil) and the pool has been painted. We hope you enjoy these photos of the progress.

The paint is curing before the pool will be filled. Once water and chemicals are ready, a final state inspection can take place. We anticipate opening THURDSAY, June 11 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) – pending the positive outcome of the state inspection.

Our home swim meet, scheduled for the evening of 6/11, will take place at West Clermont High School. Swim/dive team members will receive additional communications on this topic. Pending state inspection, the pool will be open until 9 p.m. on Thursday, 6/11 and then open for regular hours beginning Friday, 6/12.

As previously stated, we remain incredibly appreciative of your patience. The understanding and support many of you have communicated during this process has been welcome. We also understand the frustration that several have shared.

Bottom line, we’re thrilled about the new pool facility. We believe you will be equally happy. We are excited to welcome everyone back.
